Bulldog Puppy for Free

It’s almost impossible to obtain a purebred high quality Bulldog puppy for free. Breeding purebred dogs of popular breeds takes much time, efforts, money, and knowledge, so responsible breeders cannot sell their puppies cheaper than what they spend on them. A pet quality puppy can be sold at a discount, but in responsible kennels, the difference between pet and show quality puppies is very little.

Breed rescues cannot normally offer a Bulldog puppy for free, because firstly, purebred puppies are not surrendered to the rescues and secondly, adopters have to pay an adoption fee for every dog. Adopting a dog from a rescue is a good way out for those who want to have a purebred dog, but cannot afford it or don’t have enough time, knowledge, and experience for bringing up a puppy. Rescues provide all their dogs with necessary training, rehabilitation, and vet attention. All rescue dogs are spayed or neutered in order not to add to the problem of unwanted pets.

Shelters that keep unwanted mutts, mongrels, and dogs of all breeds can offer a Bulldog puppy for free, but the chance that a purebred puppy gets into a shelter is very little. Usually, caring owners surrender their dogs to rescues, but not to shelters. In a rescue, a dog has a fair chance of finding a new family, but most shelter dogs are doomed. Shelters don’t try to find new owners for their dogs, they just keep stray dogs till their owners come to take them back. If the owner is not found, the dog is euthanized. Purebred dogs from shelters may go to rescues, but no one cares about non-purebreds.

It may happen that owners of purebreds face financial or personal problems and cannot keep a dog any longer. Instead of giving a dog up to the rescue, the owner can offer it to a friend who is able to take good care of it. Some owners of purebred dogs breed them not for sale, but just because they want to have puppies. If you have a friend who owns a Bulldog dam, maybe you’ll soon get a Bulldog puppy for free.
